QUALITY OF LIFE MAP & SURVEY LAUNCHED TODAY!

GET INVOLVED! Take part in our Quality of Life Map & Survey!

Harlow & Gilston Garden Town have teamed up with independent charity, the Quality of Life Foundation, for a summer of online and face-to-face community conversations. This is to give you the chance to tell us what you like, dislike and value about where you live and work through a map and survey, to help shape your future area.

When is it running?

The website is open from 15 July - 07 October 2022. We will launch a new weekly theme (see picture below) and questions for the first 6 weeks. Check out our Timeline to see when these launch.

How can I get involved?

You can comment on the map, answer the short survey and sign up for future newsletters and question launches. The comments will be public, but your name and details will not show. We want to hear from as many people, of all ages and backgrounds as possible, so get involved to shape the future of your area!

Local people can take part in Your Quality of Life by scanning QR codes they see on posters, flyers and banners . You can scan a QR code via the camera on your phone, downloading a QR code App, or following the website link: https://qolmap.commonplace.is

If you’d prefer a printed copy of the survey please visit the Harlow Civic Centre or find us at a local event (watch out for further details on our Timeline).

Who is running this map and survey?

Harlow & Gilston Garden Town have teamed up with Quality of Life Foundation and Rainbow services, to run this survey and community events to make sure as many people take part as possible. Find out more on our Team page.

Information collected will shape how plans are taken forward by the Garden Town’s five local councils. Including future work around engaging with people, designing places, and stewardship, such as community development and the long-term care of places.
